RSR t-shirt

In Memory of Rusty Spencer
Founder of RSR Metal Spinning

The sunny yellow shirt, proudly emblazoned with “RSR Metal Spinning – The Happy Co.,” captures the spirit of Rusty Spencer — a man whose warmth, integrity, and dedication to craftsmanship defined both his company and the lives he touched. As the founder of RSR Metal Spinning, Rusty built more than just a business; he built a place where hard work and happiness could thrive together. His commitment to excellence and his cheerful outlook earned RSR its reputation as a trusted name in the industry — and a happy place to work. Today, his legacy lives on through his son, Jared Spencer, who now leads the company with the same pride and affection. Jared often reflects on his father’s guiding values and joyful presence, grateful to carry forward the company Rusty so lovingly built.

Grammy Award

The Grammy

For 18 unforgettable years, RSR Metal Spinning had the distinct honor of crafting the iconic brass horns for the Grammy Awards. Each horn was hand-spun by our most skilled artisan before being sent to the legendary John Billings, who polished and assembled them into the world-famous trophies.

When the Grammy Award was redesigned in 1991, we proudly collaborated with Mr. Billings to create a larger, more striking version of the statue. It was the beginning of a valued partnership—and a testament to the kind of relationships we strive to build with all our clients.

Though we no longer spin Grammy horns, we’re proud of the craftsmanship and history we brought to the stage. As John Billings once said:

“As my son takes over this business, I hope RSR will still be around for him.”

It’s a legacy we’ll always celebrate.
